Mural Painting: workshop for ages 16 - 20
Do you want to paint big and see your art come to life on a wall?
A creative course where participants learn about the techniques, conceptualizing and execution of mural painting. From sketching to experimenting and creating a work that leaves an impression on the environment.
The course is suitable for both beginners and those who want to develop their skills further.
The workshop is free of charge! All materials are included — participants only need to bring their own sketchbook.

The first day will focus on idea development and sketch work. In the following days, participants will paint and spray-paint on outdoor walls in the city centre made available for the workshop.

Accessibility
Accessibility at Idno: A ramp leads to the front entrance, but the door is not automatic. There is a 5 cm threshold at the entrance with a sloped edge when entering the building, though there is no sloped edge when exiting. Indoor access is generally easy, with elevator access between the 1st and 2nd floors and sloped edges at all public thresholds. An accessible restroom is available on the 1st floor, although it is fairly small. One designated accessible parking space is located on Tjarnargata by Tjarnarskóli.

Accessibility at Idno: All bathrooms are gender neutral
Accessibility at Sölvhólsgata: The second part of the course takes place at a wall on Sölvhólsgata. The wall is located next to a gravel lot, and it is possible to drive right up to the wall. The ground surface is coarse gravel.
