Artist talk: Membrane

Join us for an artist talk with Nomeda and Gediminas Urbonas and Linda Boļšakova, who will discuss their works in the exhibition Membrane at the Nordic House. The exhibition explores soil as a space of regeneration, decay, memory, and imagination. The exhibition is curated by Thomas Pausz who will also moderate this artist talk.

Nomeda and Gediminas Urbonas (LT) are the founders of Urbonas Studio, an interdisciplinary research practice exploring new forms of knowledge and artistic collaboration to transform civic space and collective imaginaries.

Linda Boļšakova (LV) is an artist whose practice explores human relationships with the environment, drawing parallels between human embodiment and the material life of plants. Her work highlights these interdependencies and nurtures a deeper sense of belonging within ecosystems and the shared community of beings that mutually inhabit the planet.
