Hinum Megin & Gallerí Kichin
The Other Side and Gallerí Kichin take over Kling & Bang with an exciting selection of events and exhibitions. The Other Side is a new curatorial and design collective founded by Hugo Llanes, Janosch Bela Kratz, and Katerína Spathí.
Through the show, territory appears and disappears – not only as a physical ground, but as something shaped by power, extraction, displacement, and shared memory. Gallerí Kichin was founded by Skúli Thayer and Silja Rún Högnadóttir when they began their studies at the Iceland University of the Arts.
The gallery is best known for its exhibition series Sculpture of the Week. During this exhibition period they will host six openings where the crème de la crème of the Icelandic art scene will present their works.
