Wheelchair

Access in Eldborg is generally good. The main doors are automatic sliding doors with no thresholds.
There are three elevators running directly from the car park to every floor of the building.

There are 8 wheelchair spaces, which must be reserved through Harpa’s ticket office. The wheelchair spaces are free of charge, but personal assistants pay the standard ticket price.

Some entrances have coarse-fiber floor mats.
Seating in Eldborg has armrests.
Accessible toilets are available on all floors.

There are 19 designated accessible parking spaces in the underground car park and 2 additional spaces outside on the seaside. To park for free in the car park, visitors must email bilahus@greenparking.is at least 3 hours in advance with name, national ID number of the disabled parking permit holder, license plate, time of arrival and a photo of the permit.

Hearing loop

A hearing loop is available. Guests can request equipment when purchasing tickets.
Infrared transmitters in the ceiling send signals to a receiver, headphones, or personal hearing loop compatible with hearing aids.

Gender‑neutral toilets are available near the upper car park and on the 2nd floor.
Accessible toilets are also gender‑neutral.
The Hljóðhimnar children’s play area is located on the 1st floor, and changing tables are available in several toilets.
The Hnoss Bistro (1st floor) and La Primavera (4th floor) are on-site.
