Ticket sales for Mahler 8 has started

You can now get your tickets for one of Reykjavík Art festival’s opening highlights: Iceland Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Mahler’s Symphony no. 8 at Harpa Concert Hall. a monumental masterpiece never before performed in Iceland. 

Known as the "Symphony of a Thousand," this awe-inspiring work will bring together nearly 400 performers, including an expanded orchestra, eight soloists, and multiple choirs. A powerful hymn to love and humanity, the symphony is a celebration of optimism and unity. 

The concerts will be conducted by Eva Ollikainen, chief conductor of Iceland Symfony Orchestra, and will take place in Eldborg on Friday, 29 May at 19:30 and Saturday, 30 May at 17:00.
