The first part of the night sees Drengurinn fengurinn bringing his juicy mix of music and performance art to the Hub. Known as Iceland’s most productive musician, he is based at Studio Dælan mikla in Akureyri. In 2023 he released 24 albums and some people say they’re pretty okay.
Followed by Apex Anima & FRZNTE who perform a highly energetic audio-visual live show.
Apex Anima plays her most recent electronic pop gems, collected on her far-reaching, interdimensional road trips, mined with careful ethereal labour. FRZNTE combines pole dancing with tech noir aesthetics, creating a dream-like visual experience that celebrates the human body and elevates female empowerment.
They merge the astral with the physical, the platonic with the erotic and the static with the acrobatic. Adding the visual scapes of Boris Kourtokouvs 3D animations, the duo offers an immersive experience.
