Wheelchair

Access in Norðurljós is generally good. The main entrance has automatic sliding doors, and there are no thresholds at the doorways.
Three elevators run directly from the underground garage to all levels of the building.

There are designated wheelchair seating spaces in the hall, which must be booked through Harpa’s ticket office. These spaces are sold at the regular ticket price.

Seats in Norðurljós do not have armrests.
Some entrances feature coarse‑fiber floor mats.

Accessible toilets are located on every floor of Harpa.

To park for free in the car park, visitors must email bilahus@greenparking.is at least 3 hours in advance with name, national ID number of the disabled parking permit holder, license plate, time of arrival and a photo of the permit.

Hearing loop

A hearing loop is installed in Norðurljós. Equipment is available upon request when purchasing tickets. Infrared transmitters in the ceiling send signals to receivers, headphones and personal T‑coil hearing loops.
