Accessibility description
The exhibition takes place in an unfinished retail space in the Landsbankinn building at the corner of Reykjastræti and Tryggvagata. The entrance is from Reykjastræti, opposite the North Face store. A low ramp leads into the space. The floor is rough concrete, and at one end of the space there is an approximately 2 cm step up. Along the windows of the space runs an open channel approximately 20 cm wide and 10 cm deep. There are two toilets in the space, with an approximately 2 cm step at the entrance to the toilet area. The toilets are spacious and have sinks, but no grab bars and insufficient turning space for larger wheelchairs. Visitors may use an accessible toilet in the Hafnartorg food hall. Entry is through an automatic sliding door opposite the exhibition space. The toilet is located on the right-hand side after passing the escalators. In the parking garage on Reykjastræti there are five designated parking spaces for disabled visitors, two of which are located by the entrance to the Hafnartorg food hall. The door in the car park is opened with a button, and an elevator operates between floors. From there, it is possible to cross Reykjastræti and enter the exhibition space. The parking spaces are paid. There are also two designated parking spaces for disabled visitors at Pósthússtræti 15 and 16.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
All toilets in the space are gender-neutral.
