It was curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist, Serpentine Gallery Co-Director of Exhibitions and Programmes and Director of International Projects, in collaboration with artist Ólafur Elíasson. The Opening Ceremony was broadcasted live by the Iceland Broadcasting Service, RUV.
