VORTEX TEMPORUM - Njúton and the Formalist Quartet

The first performance in Iceland of Grisey's Vortex Temporum

The Icelandic ensemble Njúton and its American counterpart the Formalist Quartet are both dedicated to the performance of adventurous repertoires of on contemporary pieces and world premieres. They collaborate here to perform the first performance in Iceland of Grisey's Vortex Temporum as well as the premiere of a new piece by Icelandic composer Atli Ingólfsson.
