SONGS OF LAUGHTER AND LAMENT - Vaasa City Orchestra and Caput soloists

Finnish Vaasa City Orchestra and soloists from Caput Ensemble get together for a grand concert with classical and contemporary Icelandic and Finnish pieces by Sibelius, Markus Fagerudd, Toivo Kula, Jón Nordal and an Icelandic premiere of Atli Heimir Sveinsson's Flute Concert No. 2. Directed by Guðni Franzson. The concert features four soloists: Kolbeinn Bjarnason flute, Tatu Kantoma accordion, Bryndís Halla Gylfadóttir cello, and Jorma Uotinen, chansons singer.
