      <description>&lt;p&gt;Reykjavik Arts Festival 2009 was opened May 15 by the Mayor of Reykjavik, Mrs Hanna Birna Kristjánsdóttir in Reykjavik Art Museum, Kjarvalsstaðir.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;

The opening ceremony will feature performances by festival artists such as the rolling sculptures Campingkvinner, Norvegian caravan women by Marit Benthe Norheim and Strange fruit, Australian performing artist on 4 meters high flexible poles, delivering a sublime performance, bending and swaying in the air.&lt;br /&gt;
