One Minute Closer to Doomsday

Music Theatre

Yggdrasill, the tree of life, is withering, dying,

the dark dragon still hovers over it, bearing

dead bodies in its feathers.

“ VÖLUSPÁ - PROPHECY OF THE SEERESS “, is the first and best known poem of The Poetic Edda.  It tells the story of the creation of the world and its inevitable end, related by a “ Völva “ or Seeress addressing Odin.  It is one of the most important primary sources for the study of Norse mythology.

“The Prophecy of the Seeress“ is clearly visible in our modern society, but do not listen, do not see and are unwilling to understand.  But there is hope for a new birth, a new beginning.  This hope is the message of  our “Prophecy Project“.

The language is music and our aim is to give the Seeress

a new voice.  To break the silence with a sound world of voices,

rythms, the elements, silences and the eery “Song of the Seeress“.

The three seeresses: Urdur-the past; Verdandi-the present;

Skuld-the future, tell us the truth about the creation of the world, doomsday and a new beginning. The innocence of the Seeress is expressed by the whispering voice of a child.
