Articles of Reykjavík Arts Festival appear in respected journals and magazines

Articles about the Opening Weekend of the Reykjavík Arts Festival have been appearing in respected foreign journals and art magazines recently but quite a few journalists from the foreign press attended the first days of the Festival.

Thorough articles have appeared in the newspapers Boston Globe and Wall Street Journal as well as in the art magazines Artnet, Artforum and Art - Das Kunstmagazine.
Ben Davis, a journalist for the web medium Artnet.com describes his experience of the Festival as “a little gem on the international art circuit“ and in Artforum is an article called Amazing Race where the focus is on the first days of the Festival both in Reykjavík and in the country side including many pictures. An interesting interview with the curators of the Experiment Marathon, Hans Ulrich Obrist and Ólafur Elíasson, is to be found in the Wall Street Journal and Clemens Bomsdorf from the art magazine Art – das Kunstmagazine seems to be quite inspired from the Festival in his writings.
