To our friends at the Reykjavik Arts Festival,
Our recent experience being on tour in Reykjavik was nothing short of a dream come true! Our dancers are still talking about the spectacular performances, dancing Helgi's ballets, and having the chance to meet so many wonderful Icelanders, and of course, their visit to the magical Blue Lagoon. Organizing and planning the tour and working with the staff of the Reykjavik Arts Festival was such a joy - and then finally - when San Francisco Ballet arrived in Iceland and everything happened so perfectly - there was really only one problem - that before we knew it - it was time to leave Iceland and return home to San Francisco! Having the opportunity to be with Helgi and the Company on tour in Reykjavik was an experience that none of us will soon forget. We hope to have the pleasure of dancing again in Iceland and to returning soon to your beautiful country.
