SOLARIS NOW ON CD

Last spring, at the Reykjavik Arts Festival, Ben Frost and Daníel Bjarnason performed the piece Solaris with the Krakow Sinfonietta. Solaris was created for thirty percussionists and string players, guitars, electronic instruments and a modified piano. The music was accompanied with the film work of Brian Eno and Nick Robertson, based on the movie Solaris by Tarkovsky from 1972. Bedroom Community has now released the piece on cd, and it has received good reviews.
